YAMAMOTO OKOME

2018.09.06

The visual element of the orange/gold mountain shape directly symbolizes the not who but where they grow their rice. Representation of the japanese farmers twine used on the rice drying rack is symbolized through the strokes 1,2 and 5 in the kanji for 本(moto). The twine represents the knotting that acts as a tight bond between both visual elements and a reference point to the heritage of 山本(yamamoto)  rice.
